This scholarship is a great fully-funded opportunity for students from minority groups in the USA. The Gates Scholarship is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It awards 300 students per year with all the costs and expenses for a full bachelor program. The aim of this scholarship is to eliminate the financial barriers, allowing outstanding students from low-income minorities to show their potential to be leaders of the world.
This scholarships targets students who are citizens, national, or permanent residents of the USA and are from minority ethnicities. The ideal candidates must have a great high school academic history (to 10% of the class). Also must be a clear leader of the community/school and should be able to show outstanding personal skills. For example self-motivation, maturity, and perseverance.
